Viennese Almond Flavor Paste Giveaway!

It’s no secret that I looooove the flavor pastes from Pastry Portal.     I just read your new recipe yesterday so I’d probably start there, then I’d probably try some other flavor combos, BC, ganache, macarons…

  5. I’ve just been experimenting with mini blackberry Bakewell tarts and felt they needed more of an almond kick. This sounds like it may be my answer.

    I love your blog and thank you for letting me know about Pastry Portal. I’ve just moved back to America from Ireland and was surprised at how many staples I couldn’t find in the supermarket. Pastry Portal seems to carry a lot of them though!

  7. I have looked at the Pastry Portal per your recommendations (especially the strawberry paste) but haven’t been able to commit to the price. The almond paste would give me a good “taste” and perhaps convince me to take the plunge. Your mocha almond cake keeps haunting my dreams. Winning could take me from dream to reality.   8. I’ve purchased a few of their flavors and they are divine! Such a wonderful flavor and it makes it fun to try different flavors that you may not normally try. The one I probably won’t try again,though, is passion fruit. My family didn’t seem to care very much for that one, but I’m anxious to definitely try others!

  12. Almond is my favorite flavor for my baked goods. When going through the time to make a brioche or croissant or any other time intensive dough, why not use the best flavoring products and the products at Pastry Portal simply, ARE the best!

  13. I’ve heard soo many good things about these pastes! If I won, I’d Definitely try it in my fav. Vanilla cake recipe that calls for almond but I usually omit, because my kids don’t like the extract in it. I would almond that sucker up with the paste to experiment on them! haha Thanks for the chance to win. 🙂

    I was wondering if I could get the VIENNESE almond paste in Austria. Thank you for posting a picture of the paste because now I know the name of the brand and it’s produced in Germany AND I know where to buy it! 🙂
